Well, hello there!
It seems that you have found your way to my humble blog. Welcome! Hopefully, you’ll be hearing more from me in the future. As I am just now starting up this website, blog and all, all I can do is make promises of what I hope to accomplish with my humble Internet presence. Allow me to introduce myself.

My name is Marie. Now, you may be wondering if that is my “real” name, or if it is just an Internet alias. Here is my answer for you: Yes. I will allow you to make what you will of that answer.
The long and short of it is I am a feline-dragon hybrid known as a feligon. My feline half, which consists of 75% of my body, is that of a snow leopard. My Dragon half, which makes up the remaining 25% of my body, is that of a western dark dragon. This results in me being able to use both ice/water magic, as well as dark magic. Even though my wings should be too small in order to get my fat little body off the ground, I use the same logic as a B in that I don’t care about physics, and I fly anyway. If you need more of an explanation than that, I am literally 25% dragon and magical. #DragonLogic
Just in case you haven’t figured it out by this point, I am talking about my fursona and not my actual physical body, which is quite unfortunately average and human.

Here at YinKitty Studios, I am surrounded by friends! Just above this paragraph you can see an album of all of them, so that you have a face to a name. There’s me, of course, as well as Sadie, Zaia, Kava, Revis, Elias, Miian, Lyzuli, Midas, Sheila, Snaggletooth, Lacey, and Zolo. In total there are 11 of us and counting! I know, that is a lot of characters all living in a relatively small space, but we get by. Think of it kind of like a fraternity or sorority house! We just kinda got used to it.
The Real Me
For my own personal safety I will not be putting much about my personal Contact information and such on this website. What I will let you know, is the following:
- Adventures that I go on with my friends, of course their real names may or may not be replaced with their online aliases, to also protect their identity.
- My likes and dislikes, such as the following: I love Mexican food, and do not like Thai food. Fight me.
- Anything relating to my art or art business, such as new designs available on my RedBubble store, or commission openings.
- Anything relating to my public furry events, such as cons I may be vending at or simply attending in hopes of expanding my own social circle.
- Anything of mine that gets posted on any of my social media accounts, and more! The only exception to this is Patreon, which I may or may not continue.
Please remember that if you have any questions, comments, concerns, or just want to chat, I do have a contact me page with all of the information that you could ever need in order to get a hold of me! The only thing I ask is that you do not use the contact me page in order to try and commission me. Asking questions about possible commissions is all fine and dandy, but when it comes down to it I will require you to go through the forms I have created for you. Even if we are literally just chatting on Telegram or something, and you want to commission me, I will still make you go through the form. No I cannot “just do it”. If you want to be on my commissions queue, you should be more than willing to go through the forms I have created specifically for this purpose. I have a hard enough time being organized, please don’t try and make it harder for me. 🙂
My Art
I assume if you’re here reading my blog you might actually have some interest in the art that I produce as well. I work in mainly three mediums; digital, traditional, and needlework. I’m still pretty new to needlework a.k.a. sewing, so I’m not up for taking commissions or selling anything in that category just yet. I do plan To have needlework commissions and merchandise available in the future! For now though, I really only take commissions with digital and traditional art. You may be asking yourself, what is the difference between digital and traditional art?
Well, if you’re not familiar with the art world, that’s OK! Pretty much, digital art is drawn on a tablet Usually from start to finish, meaning that the product never touches actual paper until it’s printed from the digital file. Traditional art is the exact opposite! Usually done in a Strathmore sketchbook on my bed with a mechanical pencil and a high polymer eraser, Traditional work generally takes a lot more time than digital work. This is because in digital work you can literally select and delete/rearrange bits that you have already drawn. In Traditional artwork, if you don’t like the way something looks, you generally have to start all over. At least, I do. I can almost never make a piece traditionally In one go. If I get about halfway done and I don’t like the way it’s looking, are usually at least try erasing and re-drawing some parts, and I usually end up just re-drawing the entire thing. Why? Because I am a perfectionist. And I am proud of it.
Anyway, if you’re interested in looking at designs I am selling on multiple products, you can find my RedBubble in my Shopping tab, or just click the link here!
